Hi!
This is Lee and
this is my BIO:
Thanks so much
for visiting
my site. You will
notice in this
gallery a versatile
approach with
many different
styles.
I am
proud of my well
rounded capability
and like that I
can’t be considered
a one trick pony
which I believe makes me a great
illustrator.
Some of my
influences come from growing up in
the country surrounded
by water, bugs,
and trees.
When I was old enough and stupid enough to leave that bucolic setting,
my heels took off as they could for the big ol’ city of Seattle.
Little by little
I adjusted
and found solace
in the urban nature
of the city. It
took me awhile
but I found
that I could call
the city home, and found things that
interested me
enough to draw.
I discovered I missed the isolation and cover that the
countryside had,
but felt more isolated than
ever in the city full of people. I
love being around
people but felt overwhelmed
at the same time.
My thoughts come
through easier
in drawing,
so I will make this
short ‘n’ sweet
as the drawings
speak for themselves.
You will often
see a dystopic
theme in
much of the drawings,
and a conflict of
the sense of
home between
urban and country.
I also like
happy, airy art
when I need to unwind, as you can see.
Enjoy the gallery
and feel free
to conctact me!
